Test Center Policies COMPASS Exam below
Our test center is small and testing volume is low, so appointments are REQUIRED at least 48 hours in advance (a week is best)! Testing times are dependent upon proctor availability. To make an appointment, call (208) 756-1551 or email.
No fee to proctor high school or college tests (taken within normal Test Center hours and scheduled at least 48 hours in advance).
There is a $10 Fee for the COMPASS if you are not a Northern Idaho College student.
GED fees – paid at the time of registration, through the GED.com website, $30 per test section (4 sections total).

All students are required to show photo ID to the proctor on the date of their test.
Inside the Testing Room:
Wallets, phones, books, notebooks, calculators, iPods, and other electronic devices will be stored in a locking file cabinet for
the duration of the test. No materials other than writing utensils, center-provided scratch paper, and the test itself will be allowed in the room, unless expressly allowed per testing instructions.

Be sure the LEP and the Director are approved as a testing site. Have important test instructions and passwords sent to the LEP Director (email@example.com) . Make sure professor/college contact information is available in the event of a problem or technical malfunction.
The LEP is required to follow the instructions of your professor; we will make no assumptions.
COMPASS Test: required by Idaho community colleges
The Lemhi Education Project offers COMPASS testing for a small $10 fee. COMPASS tests are required by most 2-year colleges.
The test is not timed and could last between 1 and 3 hours or more, depending on how quickly you test.
You may take the entire test or just one section (math, reading, or writing)
